A few signs your bird may be acting Hormonal.
Ah, what a wild ride it is to witness hormonal behavior in our feathery friends, the cockatiels.
These brightly colored little birds which are normally a happy handful of joy can quickly turn into real feathered firecrackers from what I hear during those “Hormonal” times.
It's like they've gone into full-fledged avian roller coaster mode!
Who knew.. Even the male birds get what’s known as premenstral symptoms. Haha☺️🤷🏼♀️ I had abSOULutely no idea this was even a thing with the males. Did you?
Picture this..
You walk up to your cute feathered friend, and instead of a casual "Hello," they give you that look, you know, the one that says, "Hey there, good-looking, wanna be my mate?"
Or perhaps they physically try to assault you by flying at your head. Look out!! Because when they crash into you it freaking hurts + they’re not playing around either. They mean business.

Watch out for their destructive side too. They suddenly turn into master shredders, making a statement with the latest "shred couture collection”, starring carpet, your clothes, paper, plastic bags and anything else they can get their tiny beaks and talons on!
But let's not forget their fiery tempers. That’s what initially started this whole inquiry into Emotional Healing for birds to begin with.
